Two questions: One) What is the function of the retina? And Two) How do I delete an open study account?

The retina is responsible for collecting light to create an image. It is made of a layer of light-sensitive cells called rods and cones. These cells collect the light and send an electric impulse down the optic nerve to the brain where it interprets the image.
