Find the quptient: 4.40 divided by 1.1

plz draw it out if you can

A quotient is a result of division. In this case, you literally just divide 4.4 by 1.1, the giving you an answer of 1.0 (you want to keep the .0 because the question asks for 1 decimal place).

if you're getting confused because of decimals just get rid of it by multiplying by multiples of tens (depends on the number of decimal places you have. If you have one decimal place multiply by 10; 100 for two places; 1000 for three; so on and so forth) In this case..4.4 divided by 1.1...multiply both numbers by ten to make them whole...44/11 = 4
