Identify the precipitate (if any) that forms when KOH and Cu(NO3)2 are mixed

Cu(OH)2....Its oen of the method used in seperating copper metal from waste water.....But exact nature of precipitate depends on condition of treatment,...If you are getting precipitate blue in colour its Cu(OH)2 and on keeping for a long time a black precipitate may obtain..which is CuO produced from dehydration of Cu(OH)2...
