How do you correctly cite a website for a research essay

It all depends on the format of your research paper! There's a different way to cite a resource for, for example, MLA format or APA formats. Here's a list of formats:

To view how to cite sources, click on your research paper's format, and you should be able to take it from there. :)

Use the easybib.com One of my teachers who is doing a Phd even uses it for his thesis!

Additionally, from what I understand, all you have to do really is copy + paste the website URL, such as http://www.reddit.com/ followed by your date of access. Example

http://www.reddit.com/ (Date of access: 03 March 2012)
