How do you graph using slope intercept form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+c is the slope intercept form. m is the slope and c is the inrcept. On the y axis draw a line crossing (0,c) with slope m.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So for the equation y = x the crossing point would be 0,0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean the slope

OpenStudy (phi):

for the equation y=x match it to the pattern y= m x + b m=1 (1*x is understood if there is no number in front of the x) b= 0 ( we do not bother to write y= x+0, we just write y=x)
