What is the equation of the line passing through (2, –2) and perpendicular to the line y = –x + 3 in slope-intercept form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(1) get the slope of the given equation of the line, then find its inverse considering that it's perpendicular. . so it will be. m=1-, the inverse is 1 therefor perpendicular slope is 1 (2) find equation of the line using the perpendicular slope and a point, using point-slope form. . . can you do it now?
