is the derivative of cos= -sin? I think it is... 2x^3sin(x); bring the 3 down 2*3=6, x^(3-1)= x^2. sin(x) goes to 1cos(x).. ur first term is then 6x^2cos(x) second term: x^1 goes to 1. 1*3= 3. cos(x) goes to -1sin(x) so you have all togther 6x^2cos(x)+3sin(x).
