Which of the following is a polynomial with roots -2, -3, and 3 ? x3 + 4x2 + 9x + 24 x3 - 4x2 + 9x - 24 x3 + 2x2 + 9x + 18 x3 - 2x2 + 9x - 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^3 + 2x^2 + 9x + 18

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ummm I think its x^3 -2x^2 + 9x - 18 the reasoning is (x+2)(x+3)(x-3) the constant term is 2 x 3 x -3 = -18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dont we have a choice for: X^3+2x^2-9x-18 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Crap all the options are wrong, (I only used vieta to test the coefficient of x^2) The correct answer is \( X^3+2x^2-9x-18 \)
