To be clearer, you must first find the volume of each cylinder. The equation is volume = pi * radius^2 * height. Radius is 1/2 diameter so the equation would be volume = pi * .25m^2 * 1.5m which gets you v = pi * 0.09375m^3. Now take the 10m^3 and divide it by the volume of each can pi * 0.09375m^3 and you gets you a little more than 33 which would be 34 to get that extra little bit of waste.
