HERRROOO I NEED U A neighborhood has provided trash cans to residents to dispose of their waste. All trash cans have a diameter of 0.5 meters and a height of 1.5 meters. What is the minimum number of trash cans required to dispose of 10 cubic meters of waste? Answer 34 102 33 101
34 cans
I wish people would just post their questions without including my name. I can't help everybody :P
i sorry
Haha Im trying to help alot of people so they start wanting my help. but my answer is correct
To be clearer, you must first find the volume of each cylinder. The equation is volume = pi * radius^2 * height. Radius is 1/2 diameter so the equation would be volume = pi * .25m^2 * 1.5m which gets you v = pi * 0.09375m^3. Now take the 10m^3 and divide it by the volume of each can pi * 0.09375m^3 and you gets you a little more than 33 which would be 34 to get that extra little bit of waste.
