I have 8 units finished, and I have to finish 12 units by the end of March 23. How many units can I hand in per week to finish by the deadline? There are 17 days left (counting weekends).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide the number of days by 7 (number of days in a week). Then figure out how many units you have left to do, (total you have to finis - total you have done already). Take the number of units you have to do still and divide it by how many weeks you have left.

I divide the number of day by 7 with 8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope, by dividing the number of days you have left, you get the number of weeks you have left.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you show how it should be done? Please? :$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh, never mind. I get it now-- 2 units per week?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(number of days / 7 ) = number of weeks Total units you have to do - units done = units that still need to be done. units that still need to be done / number of weeks = units needed to be handed in each week.
