OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

sin(39.8)/11.01=sin(x)/24.4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Calculate the first sin into a number, then multiply both sides by 24.4. Divide out the resulting fraction on the left and then take the arcsin of it to get x.

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Got a negative number haha

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

So im going to say my answer is undefined!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm... Looks like the resulting answer is beyond the range of the sin function.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

its the sin rule so sin x = 24.4 x sin(39.8)/11.01 evalute it then take arcsin of the answer to find the size of x

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

a negative angle campbell, and it's a triangle so it's impossible :P
