When designing a pattern, Erica rotated a triangle 90 degrees about the midpoint of one side to create a second triangle. If the area of the original triangle is 48 square inches, what is the area of the second triangle?

?? By rotating a object the area wouldn't change...so the area would still be 48 maybe im not understanding the problem
