OpenStudy (aravindg):

what are fullerenes?

OpenStudy (rogue):

Fullerenes are compound that are made up purely of carbon in spherical, elliptical, or tube form. Some examples that you might've heard of are carbon nanotubes and buckminsterfullerene. They're very interesting compounds with many possible uses.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

wel is there a condition..like there is a minimum requirement of 60 c atoms?

OpenStudy (rogue):

There are no minimum requirements, but it just has to be in that form & be made up of carbon. C60 is buckminsterfullerene, which looks like a soccer ball.
