As far as I know it hasn't been conclusively proven. Although the experimental data suggest that nutrino seemed to have traveled faster than the speed of light, there could be some errors in the data, so they are ruling out the possible errors.

that might be possible but then if its possible einstien's theory of relativity might get a death blow.. so the experiments need re experimentation.. its not that easy to prove einstien (the greatest mind ever) wrong!

my bio techer said that anything can be faster than c, it's just that things can't "become" c or faster, i.e. transition is impossible
