OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guess he missed to include a term

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry , i missed the 4x . 3x^2+4x=-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no matter ;) I think it doesn't have an answer because :4^2 -4(3)(5)<0

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

But, we can still get imaginary roots. D=16-60 =-44 So \[\sqrt{D}=\sqrt{44}i\] Thus the roots are \[(-4\pm \sqrt{44}i)/6\]
