c = 3.14 * 2= 6.28 * 8 = 37.7+ 40 =77.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C = [2(pi)r]/2 circumference of a semicircle C = [4(pi)]/2, circumference using your radius C = 2(pi), circumference of one semi-circle C = 6[2(pi)] circumference of the 6 semi-circles. Total perimeter = 6[2(pi)] + 20 + 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the perimeter of circles are 3.14d - these are semicircles so take 1/2 multiply by 6 , sinc it is s6 of them then add to 40 for the other sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3*2*pi*2+20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 3 full circles. So, calculate circumference of the circle and multiply by 3. => pi*4*3 => 12pi Now, you have to add two times 20 inches for the side lengths. Answer: 12pi + 40 inches.

so i get 77.68 and i should round that to 78 right ?
