Could I get an example vector addition problem for practice?

Here you go: If u = <a,b> and v = <c,d>, then u + v = <a + c, b + d> For u = <-4,3> and v = <2,5> Perform the indicated vector operation. Problem one: u + v <-4 + 2, 3 + 5> gives you <-2,8> Problem 2: 3u So you have 3 times the vector <-4,3>; which gives you <3*(-4), 3*3> which gives you <-12,9> Try the three problems on your own. Problem 3: 2u + 4v Problem 4: 5(u + v) Problem 5: 2u - 3v + 4u
