With consideration to the problem at hand, and with respect to Kirchhoff’s law, and the Algebraic Order of Operations, i3 itself in fact does equal 3; nonetheless given the automatic assumption of Kirchhoff’s law, when given the values of current traveling through a specified node, that all of the currents must total zero, the derived equation of such assumption gives the same answer, although presented in a slightly different format. i1 + i2 – i3 = 0
