Something weird is happening to me on Openstudy in last couple of days. When i logout my icon stays on the home screen.

This is a known thing. I don't think it's a bug, but I honestly don't remember the explanation. @shadowfiend or one of the Matts would be the ones to explain this however.

Well, in short we know what is causing this problem. There are various places where we count how many open sessions you have. Somehow, these counts get out of sync meaning it is possible for you to appear online when you're not. In short, we're looking into it. But it's been difficult as it only happens once we hit a certain number of concurrent users.
