I'm not sure I really see in my head how this would actually work out. From what I can tell this would do nothing but introduce more complexity into an already complex system.

How do you figure this would actually be used?

well first google is going all social so it may suit your need and add picassa and google+ in the process.. and second you would have a more advanced editor without extra coding (google's own) I've seen people like articf0x here that want a better editor and yes I'm aware it may be complex though, I believe this editor works as quick repplies and its great gdocs might suit a complete homework  or investigation that can be corrected online I guess , just a thought keep the great work and thanks for the quick aswers
