y = mx + b m = -6/5 x = 0 y = 9 Plug these values in and solve for b. 9 = (-6/5)*0 + b b = 9 So: y = -6x/5 + 9
Btw, if you're just posting questions without having read the book it's really not a good idea. Try to read your book or Paul's notes if your book isn't so great.
b/c believe it or not, you really need to know this stuff in the higher level maths.
