What are three ways that you could become a more critical viewer and consumer?

1) Read the news and know what's going on around you. You'll be able to understand adds better and what you're eating and what your money is supporting. Also, read thoughly and reasearch your sources...it's good to know what benefist people have for what they write and what they don't.

2) Study perswasive writing and add creation. When you know what affects certain words, colors, lines, and images have on you the better you'll be able to NOT be perswaded by them...and be more informed.

3) Know your history. People are still strongly influenced by the '50s. There's a lot to learn about the way the people acted.
