describe the seed development in angiosperms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Seeds in an Angiosperm are produced inside a hard or a fleshy structure which is often the "Fruit" of a plant. Sometimes the seed is covered in a combination of a hard shell and a fleshy enclosure. The other kind of seed, the Gymnosperms, have no special structure that covers them; they are "naked" seeds but they develop hard scales over time and develop cones as we see in conifer plants (i.e. Evergreen trees).
