3. What are the coordinates of the vertex of the graph of the function y = –3x² –12x + 3? (1 point
is it (-2,-9)
oh again it should be ( -2,9)
they got (2 -9)
just check ur equation the sign of x ?
A.(–2, 29) B.(2, –15) C.(2, –9) these the choices they have D.(3, –6)
i think my answer is also wrong ... plz give the question with the correct sign
3. What are the coordinates of the vertex of the graph of the function y = –3x² –12x + 3? (1 point) thats the question they asked
i am getting somewhat (-2,15) just check
(2 -15) ?
Lol I just do it the lazy calculus way. Take the derivative and set it equal to zero. -6x -12 = 0 x =12/-6 x=-2 Plug in -2 to the original function: y = -3(-2)^2 -12(-2) +3 y = 15 (-2,15)
A.(–2, 29) B.(2, –15) these are my choices they gave me to choose C.(2, –9) D.(3, –6)
Seems like you've got 2 students against 1 teacher.
check your answer as both of us r getting the same answer (-2,15)
i think the answer b is right yall got (-2 15) but for b they got (2 -15) it seems as if yall got the negative in the wrong place idk
This kind of thing happens sometimes, no worries :-)
okay thanks
