I think it's a multiple choice question, and those are the 4 choices. I'd go with principles of art. Principles are things like balance, repetition, variety, movement, etc. They are used to help organize elements of art (line, color, value, texture, etc) to create a work that is aesthetically pleasing, displeasing, or somewhere in the middle. :)
