Friction Causes heating thus raising the temperature.

it can be really annoying in large-scale industrial places, especially with moving parts. This is because there will be a lot of friction between the parts, which, if not lubricated properly, can result in the wearing away of parts, and in loss of energy by vast amounts.

But if you think about it, we would be worse off without friction than we are with it.  How would cars brake?  How would you walk or run?  Of course, it is conceivable that solutions could be devised to eliminate these problems, but the solutions would result in a completely different world than the one we live in today.
