25. The title “Another Evening at the Club” is close in meaning to “Just Another Evening at the Club.” Given the events of the story, what is the significance of this meaning? (5 points)

How do you interpret what happens at the very end of the story? I think that's tied in to the particular meaning of the title. (What does it mean "just another evening"?) This is the sort of question for which there is not necessarily one "right" answer. The point is to explore the meaning of the story for yourself, and to come to some satisfactory interpretation of it and its relationship to the title. What does it say to you, this story? Not every reader will draw exactly the same conclusions or see exactly the same lesson -- because we all relate the stories we hear to our own lives, and to our own understanding of the world. You must think of what this story means to YOU. But there are people here who can help you through that process.

I think if you read the story you will see perfectly what the title means, and why it could be titled "JUST another evening at the club." Copying questions for the purpose of cheating is a violation of your honor code and if used in my class will result in a '0' on your test.
