Explain Copernicus's view of the universe and how if differed from Ptolemy's view.

Nicolas Copernicus thought that earth was a planet among many others, and all these planets revolve around the sun. Unlike the older beliefs that the earth was the center of the universe. To them, the earth appeared to be the centre, because we see the whole universe from our earth.
