... the "over time" is the reason for not using bar or double bar.  As for "line graph" there are different forms known by this name, so just check how that one is used in your class or book.

yes, you could answer "line graph." the only reason for my hesitation is that I know a book that uses the term "line graph" for something very different.  So if you think so, then it is probably right.
