How do you work out this question? It's hard for me to multiply decimals.
17.9 x 1.90.

well it is almost 17.9 x 2
which is 35.8
minus the difference which is 17.9 x 0.1 =1.79

so 17.8x 1.90= 35.8-1.79=34.01
