OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the least common multiple of the two polynomials: (x+3) and (x^2-9) I think its (x-3)(x+3) but I'm not for sure

OpenStudy (mertsj):

x^2-9 is the LCM

OpenStudy (mertsj):

It couldn't be x+3 because x-3 is not a factor of x+3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

You are correct.
