How does a virus attack a cell?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a virus imbeds itself in the cells DNA, it "tricks" the cell to replicate viral DNA, that causes the cell to make more viruses and then when the cell is "full" of viruses, it breaks through the cell membrane and is able to enter other cells.
