y^2+36x+8y-92 = 0 what are the intercepts of this equation in parabola?

OpenStudy (callisto):

put x=0 , y^2+8y-92 = 0 , y= 6.39 or y = -14.39 <-y-int put y=0, 36x-92 = 0 , x=2.556 <- x-int

OpenStudy (moongazer):

parabola has no intercepts. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im looking for the interceptS, so ill just made it positive negative? and transform it into the standard eq.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow.didnt knew that. hehe thanks for the info

OpenStudy (moongazer):

intercepts are just for ellipse and hyperbola.

OpenStudy (callisto):

i thought you're asking the x/y axes int, sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok. thanks by the way :))
