10.1 Find the distance of point P (-7,0,5) from the straight line passing through points A(-2,0,1) and B(3,2,2) .

Not familiar with (x,y,z) coordinate systems, but if I were you I would find the midpoint of the line AB, M, and then the distance PM from that. Is the distance formula in three coordinates sqr((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2+(z2-z1)^2)?
