10. Graph the quadratic functions y = -2x2 and y = -2x2 + 4 on a seperate piece of paper. Using those graphs, compare and contrast the shape and position of the graphs. (3 points)

I suggest you download a free copy of Geogebra, and use that to plot the two graphs. You can see that the second equation is shifted up by 4. The first equation has one x intercept at y=0. While the second equation has two x intercepts at (-1.41,0) and (1.41,0). The vertex of the first equation is at point (0,0). The second equation has it's vertex at (0,4). Both equations are a parabola opening in the negative y direction. See if you can add anything else on your own.
