how do i break down 2625=r^3 i was finding the volume of a sphere and got stuck at the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is an r in your question?is it a radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah. i wrote it wrong they gave me the volume and they want me to find the surface area. i know how to find everything else the volume is 3500 and i figured if i found out that the radius is from that then i could find the surface area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the complete question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to do it? I just get stuck at that one part.

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

The best way I know to calculate that is to use a calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ive tried using it and it just gives me some crazy number=\

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Just write it as \[\sqrt[3]{2625}\]if you don't want to write out a bunch of decimals.

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Most of the time, it's better to use an exact form instead anyways.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you(: i had to plug that into another formula and i just looked it up how to do it on my calculator. but yeah thanks a bunch. i ended up getting 173.35
