You want to put your decimal point above the last number that's inside the division box. Step 1: I divide 5 by 3 and get 2. 2: I bring down one "0" from the 500. Now I divide 20 by 3. 3. That is 6, so I put 18 (3*6) under the 20 and subtract. I get 2. 4. I bring down the second "0" from the 500. Now I divide 20 by 3. 5. That is 6 again, so I put an 18 under the 20 and subtract. This sequence goes on forever so it's 160.6 repeating.
