Find the distance between the plane 2x+4z+6z=0 and a line parallel given by (1,1,1) + t<1,2,3>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The plane and line are not parallel they are perpendicular so what exactly are you asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh well i was allowed to pick the line and plane so I thought since a b c in the plane is a scalar of the direction vector of the line that mean parrallel. what would indicate parallel?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then how would i calc the distance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since line is perpendicular to the given plane thus distance is 0 units
