i would have to agree with you i have read the stories of romeo and juliet twice and it is the fault of the parents that both causes juliet to fall "dead' and then romeo thinks she really is dead then he kills himself and then juliet wakes up finding romeo dead beside her coffin and then she kills herself. so juliet is partly responsible for the death of romeo. good question though

well i think that maybe the friar and Romeo are the ones to blame.... probably because romeo or the friar should have let Juliet know what was going on so she wouldn't be worried out of her mind. maybe leave a note or something. but then again, the families might have done it. i guess it just comes down to what the huge issue was in the first place. Good Question!
