Input the equation of the given line in standard form. The line with m = -3/4 and b = -2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=(-3/4)x-2 4y=-3x-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you know so much about algebra?! I suck.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd imagine that standard form is having y without coefficients.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know what that means...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

come on, you need to keep your base strong to proceed for higher studies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dunn0053 in the next line i replied a much more simpler way of writing that cause when you have a fractional answer you tend to simplify it ,thats wat i did

Algebra is like learning the alphabet. It gets so much more interesting once you can read. I bet you think the alphabet is easy, just as many of us trying to help think algebra is easy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well said @dunn0053

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah. That's cool. I'm trying to raise my grade up in algebra so I really appreciate your guys' help! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you, I'm working on my degree in physics ritht now and even I have to look up a lot of stuff, though remembering stuff is the best kind of cheating. You have all of the info, but you can't get caught. Haha....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @becca94
