i dont get how you can get them >.<

A ratio represents a relationship between two numbers. As long as the proportion is maintained, the ratio is equivalent. So, for the first one, 14:16, you could double it to get 28:32 and it would be equivalent. Is this making any sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glad to hear it. You could also cut it in half to get 7:8 and it's still the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you multiply it to and it will be equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure! Multiply it by anything, as long as you multiply both the numbers, the ratio is maintained.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thank you
