Does this make sense:

OpenStudy (masterchief):

Not many people are triumphant in achieving their Personal Legend, albeit Santiago was.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, that's not phrased well. It doesn't work to speak in terms of achieving a personal legend, in the way that you would a personal goal. And "albeit" just doesn't fit here either. Try again?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is it, in simple language, you are trying to say? How would you turn to someone next to you and say this?

OpenStudy (masterchief):

Oh this just has to do with a book, I'm talking about the albeit part, why won't it work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The whole sentence sounds funny. Maybe if the first part were sorted out, the "albeit" part would work better. What is it you are trying to say, in everyday language?

OpenStudy (masterchief):

I'm writing a report for a book. I was saying that not many people can do this particular task, though this man did.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So he accomplished a task?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by "personal legend"? (I'm trying to get at where you're going with this, to be able to help you rephrase it.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And what was that task?

OpenStudy (masterchief):

It has to do with "The Alchemist" and it is very hard to explain. It's basically like a true desire. Don't worry, that wording is fine, its just the albeit part.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you want to say he fulfilled his dream or something like that, don't you?

OpenStudy (masterchief):

It's meant to be a stage in someone's quest. The other words it like this all the time in the book.

OpenStudy (masterchief):

Don't worry about that part.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmmm, well perhaps in context it makes more sense. For "albeit" try swapping in "but." Not many people are triumphant in achieving their Personal Legend, but Santiago was.

OpenStudy (masterchief):

Okay, yeah I think that fits better thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure thing.
