A rectangular lot was 55 feet long and 35 feet wide. Then, the length and the width of the lot were both increased by 5 feet. How many square feet (ft2) does the LARGER lot cover? A. 25 ft2 B. 475 ft2 C. 1,925 ft2 D. 2,400 ft2

So the total of the larger one is 2,400ft2. And the difference between the two is 475ft2. But I think it's asking what's the area of the larger lot cover, not the difference. Thank you though.
