Anyone ready Sunday in the Park by Bel Kaufman? Where can be a metaphor be found and other literary devices?

OpenStudy (istim):

Metaphor- Comparison without using "like" or similar words. E.g. "Feathery clouds". Other literary devices: Alliteration, simile. I can't help you much here, sorry.

OpenStudy (istim):

I personally haven't read the short story, but I believe with a little effort, you can do it too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just have to use the definitions you have for literary devices and find them in the story. If you know the definitions then you know what to look for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

metaphor is an indirect term referred to an object for eg. camel is the ship of the dessert here camel is said to be a ship
