Which of the following ordered pairs is a solution to the inequality y>= 3x - 2?

OpenStudy (stacey):

You should have possible solutions given, for example (5, 8). To check if they are solutions put the x value in for x (5 in the example I have given), and put the y value in for y. In this example, y=8.

OpenStudy (stacey):

Using the example:|dw:1331320749783:dw| Since 8 is not greater than or equal to 13, (5,8) is not a solution.
