Factor: x2 + 2x - 15
x^(2) + 2x - 15 use this notation and input it into wolfram alpha if you dont want to learn, we are here to help you understand concepts not to do your homework for you. Have a little respect for people.
x^2+2x-15 x^2+5x-3x-15 (x^2+5x)+(-3x-15) x(x+5)-3(x+5) (x-3)(x+5) So x^2+2x-15 completely factors to (x-3)(x+5)
cuddlepony you don't HAVE to "straighten me out". I know what I'm doing and I just want you to leave me alone. Thanks.
Not trying to straighten you out just trying to save everyones time
Well you don't have to save time for people. If they want to answer, that's great. If they don't then that's fine too. You're wasting time right now talking to me...
Actually as foolish as it sounds I'm actually trying to help you acquire answers quickly to these question so you can do them on your own. I guess helping you is a waste of time though.
yeah, it might as well be. I'll never understand this.
Wow that is a terrible thing to say and I highly doubt that you are unable to grasp factoring. Factoring isn't very hard you just need to put the time in to learn it. Alternatively you can just use the quadratic formula to solve these questions. Doing them mentally can be faster though once you understand how to.
