Based on the figure, which equation is true? 2 sin x° = cos y° 2 cos x° = tan y° 2 tan x° = sin y° 2 sin x° = tan y°

please help

Have you use your trig definitions and pythagorean theorm to find the missing parts of the triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its the first one but im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why do you think it's true?

Directrix (directrix):

This is an odd question. Triangle ADC is pictured as a right triangle with hypotenuse 10 AND a leg of 10. That cannot be as the hypotenuse of a given right triangle is the longest side of the triangle. I do have that x = 30 degrees because sin x = 1/2 and x = 30.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know the values its just the way the triangle is presented and i cant really use elimination in answers

OpenStudy (rogue):

screwd up question ftl.

OpenStudy (rogue):

2 sin x° = tan y°

Directrix (directrix):

I'm tryiing to figure out what "they" might have meant to write and then to attempt to find an answer based on that wrong assumption. @Rouge --> Why 2 sin x° = tan y° --> Just wondering?
