Construct a Venn diagram that illustrates the sets A, B, and C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the sets?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have uploaded

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok you want to draw 3 circles like they did. They will be named A, B and C. First, see if there's a TV show that is in all 3 sets. If so, you write that one in the middle. Then, do the same thing for the shows that are in 2 sets: you write them down in the intersection of the 2 sets. When you're done with that, you write the other TV shows in their respective circle. Make sure you only write down the TV shows *once*, by the way. For example, if there's a show in all 3 sets, then you don't write it down in the 3 intersections of 2 sets.

Do you think you can figure it out from my explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow, juding by your amazing response time of 10 seconds, you didn't even read what I wrote.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

judging*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have drawn the picture and can you look at what i tried to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Upload it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this the upload

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pylauzier, are you still there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, you made some mistakes :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example, why did you put CSI:Miami in the middle? It's only in one of the 3 sets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where are all the mistakes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You filled it out without checking anything did you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, i thought some were in the right spots

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, your first mistake is that you didn't even name your sets. How is the reader supposed to know which circle is set A, B or C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what is next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Next you read the first paragraph I wrote to you. Start by checking the 3 sets, if there's a show that appear in all 3 then you put it in the center area. Since the 3 circles (sets) overlap there, that mean the show is found in all 3. You then do the same for the shows that are in 2 sets, and then you complete the diagram by adding the shows that are only in 1 set into their respective circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you, i got it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can upload your result if you want me to check it.
