you have a trail mix of $8 a premium cashew mix of $15 you need a 105 pound mix that's $10 a pound. (total price is 105 x $10 = $1050) that means you need x pounds of $15 cashews, and (105 - x) pounds of $8 trail mix. 8. (105 - x) + 15x = 10 . 105 (distribute on both sides) 840 - 8x + 15x = 1050 7x = 1050 - 840 7x = 210 x = 30

Let c is number pound of 8 -dollar cashew so: 105 - c is number pound of 15-dollar type 8c + 15 ( 105 - c ) = 10 * 105 -> 7c = 1575 - 1050 => c = 525/ 7 = 75 lbs
