Lets test your knowledge in stereo chemistry:- What does this mean
\[\left[ \alpha \right]_{D}^{25}=+3.12^{o}\]
The specific rotation of a compound at 25 degrees( I dont remember what D means - does it mean concentration?) is +3.12 degrees in the clockwise direction
It means that if the compound is placed in a solution in a polarimeter at that temperature, it will rotate polarized light by an angle of 3.12 degrees in the clockwise direction
Are you drunk or something you're making an retriceout of yourself
Yahan sharab mil raha hai kya?????????
Do you guys want the answer
I dont know what you are talking about. I think whatever I have said is correct, except that D means wavelength.
This means that the D line of a sodium lamp(wavelength=589.6 nm) was used for the light, that a temperature of 25 degree was maintained and that a sample containing 1.00g/mL of optically active substance, in a 1-dm tube, produced a rotation of 3.12 degrees in a clockwise direction
